New Playground Equipment
We have plans in place for new play equipment in the park, but we need to fundraise in order to do this. Our plans have received a big boost this month, as we have been selected as one of the Co-Op’s Local Community Fund Projects for 2020-2021. This means that every time a member of the Co-Op shops in either the Ammanford or Llandybie store, they will give us a small donation to the cause. If you are a member of the Co-Op, you can log in online, and select us as your exclusive project, so every donation you make will come entirely towards our project, whichever store you are spending it at. The Co-Op donates 2p for every £1 spent, so if we all join together this can raise a large sum of money over that time.
Please support this project, as it will vastly improve facilities within the village. The current play equipment is old, and has been classed as short-life, which means once Swansea Council decide that it is unsafe, it will be removed and will not be replaced. We hope to replace the equipment ourselves before this happens, and our plans are much bigger and more varied than what is currently there, but we need your help to do this.
